The empty grave unleashed hope. We, an Easter People, live in the Resurrection era able to live with the promise of hope instead of the curse of death. There is life on the other side of death. There is life after hardship. There is delight as we live into the resurrected life.
Explore the stories of hope of the first Easter people - Peter, Mary Magdalene, Thomas - as they journey from despair to delight as they see their friend die and then meet him as the Resurrected Jesus. We'll also explore the stories of Paul and the Emmaus Road friends. We begin April 10 and end May 8. Each session will include a book discussion, a video presentation from the author Tom Berlin, and a conversation on how we move from despair to delight as we live the Resurrection.
