Sunday at Westminster | “What’s in Your Hand?”

Rev. Gavin Daniels
Rev. Gavin Daniels

This Sunday, February 8, Westminster looks forward to worshiping together as we welcome Rev. Gavin Daniels as our guest preacher.

Rev. Daniels will preach a message titled “What’s in Your Hand?”, drawing from the story of Moses and God’s invitation to offer what may seem small or ordinary and trust how God can use it for something greater. It’s a message that speaks to faith, courage, and the surprising ways God works through what we already carry.

A Shared Vision for Growing Faith

Rev. Daniels serves with The Unified Pathway Projects, a collaborative initiative that supports congregations as they live into faithful innovation and discipleship. Under that umbrella, Westminster participates in the Written with Love Project, which continues to shape how we gather, tell stories, and nurture faith across generations.

Rev. Daniels also leads the Sprouting Roots Project, which takes shape differently in each congregation it serves. Rather than offering a single model, Sprouting Roots helps churches clarify their own vision for discipleship and growth.

Here at Westminster, that vision includes creating an environment where more children, youth, and families can participate fully in the life of the church, growing in faith, belonging, and purpose as we follow Jesus together.

An Invitation to Worship

This Sunday’s worship will be grounded in gratitude, trust, and joy—celebrating God’s generous care and the ways God invites us to place what we have into faithful hands.

Whether you are deeply rooted at Westminster or finding your way here, you are warmly invited to join us for worship.
