Worship Update: Called Together to the Cross

Friday, January 30 | 6:30 PM

Please begin by watching this brief video update, which explains our worship plans for the coming days

Due to the winter weather forecast for the coming weekend, Westminster will gather for worship Friday evening, January 30 at 6:30 PM, allowing us to come together safely before snow and icy conditions arrive.

This service brings us to the conclusion of our three-week journey through 1 Corinthians 1, centered on the heart of our faith—the cross of Christ. Through Scripture, song, prayer, and Holy Communion, we will be reminded that the church is not held together by strength, certainty, or agreement, but by grace poured out in Jesus Christ.

What to Expect in Worship

  • A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere

  • Singing and prayer

  • God’s Word from 1 Corinthians 1:18–31

  • The conclusion of our Called Together series

  • Holy Communion, shared together as one body

Choir members will gather at 6:00 PM for a brief warm-up and rehearsal prior to worship.

Come as you are—comfortable, unhurried, and ready to receive grace.

Can’t Be There in Person?

Friday night’s service will be recorded and available for streaming on our YouTube channel and accessible through our website, WestminsterKinston.com.

Campus & Weather Update

Because of the winter weather forecast, the church campus will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. We will continue to monitor conditions and share updates about activities for the coming week via email, Facebook, and our website.

Wherever and however we gather, God meets us with mercy and grace.
