Faith in Action — Westminster Joins Our United Methodist Family in Columbus County

Over the last few months, we’ve seen the power of compassion in motion through the NCCUMC Faith in Action initiative in Columbus County. Thanks to your support, families impacted by hurricanes have begun the journey home — and there’s still work to be done.
On Saturday, October 18, Neal Beirise and Pastor Dennis will lead Westminster into partnership with our fellow United Methodists in Columbus County. Together, we’ll register as a TEAM and take part in this mission to repair homes — fixing roofs, walls and porches, steps, painting, and more — so families can return safely.
No prior construction experience? You are welcome. We need people to prepare sites and materials on Fridays, to work on Saturday, to deliver lunches to the field teams — there’s a place for anyone willing to serve.
👉 To join our Westminster TEAM, please let Neal or Dennis know by October 1 so we can complete our group registration for the October 18 work day.
If you can’t physically participate that weekend, consider supporting by contributing to the NC Storm Fund — every gift helps supply the materials we need.
