A Tree of Thanksgiving and Remembrance

Updated: Dec 24, 2025

As we journey through the holy season of Advent, our sanctuary has been beautifully transformed by the Poinsettia Tree—a visible expression of gratitude, remembrance, and hope. Each poinsettia represents a story, a prayer, and a gift offered in love. Together, they form a living testimony to the faith and generosity of this congregation.

We offer sincere thanks to all who made the Poinsettia Tree possible—those who gave in honor of loved ones, in memory of those who have gone before us, and in celebration of God’s many blessings. Your gifts have helped create not only a stunning visual centerpiece for worship but also a sacred space that invites reflection and thanksgiving.

This tree reminds us that Advent is a season of waiting and watching, but also a season of offering—offering gratitude to God, offering love to one another, and offering beauty that points us toward the coming of Christ.

We are also grateful for the many hands and hearts who helped plan, assemble, and care for the Poinsettia Tree. It stands as a powerful sign of what happens when a community comes together in faith and service.

May this tree continue to draw our eyes—and our hearts—toward Christ, who comes among us with light, love, and peace.
