A beloved gathering is growing into something new.

On Wednesday, January 21, Westminster United Methodist Church launches Westminster on Wednesday—the next evolution of the journey that began with Written with Love. This new gathering continues the heart of shared meals and meaningful connection, while opening space for deeper spiritual formation across all ages.

A Table, a Meal, a Shared Life

The evening begins with a home-style country cooking dinner prepared by our meal partner, Fatbaby’s. From there, we’ll gather for a combined, all-ages program focused on a central theme that shapes both faith and daily life: prayer as a way of life.

There is no cost to you for the meal or the program—just your time, your presence, and your participation.

Why Prayer?

Before scripture was written, God’s people prayed. Prayer has always been the way people sought God’s presence, discerned God’s will, and learned how to live faithfully in the world. In this gathering, we’ll explore how:

• Prayer shapes how we live

• Prayer guides our discernment as a community

• Prayer forms the way the church walks with one another through life, death, and resurrection hope

  
  

How we pray becomes the way we live. And how we live becomes the way we celebrate who we are—and whose we are as we move from this life into the Church Triumphant.

An Evening for Everyone

Westminster on Wednesday is designed for everyone—longtime members, new friends, families, and those simply curious about faith and community. There’s no pressure and no prior experience needed. Just good food, honest faith, and space to listen for God together.
