New Worship & Study Series Begins This Spring!
This Easter, we proclaim again the good news: Christ is risen! But what happens next?
The resurrection wasn’t the end of the story—it was the beginning of something new. Jesus didn’t rise from the dead just to be admired; He rose to walk with us, to live in us, and to empower us to love as He loved. And one of the clearest ways we live out that resurrection power is by doing something surprisingly simple… we love our actual neighbors.
Starting this spring, we’re launching a three-week worship and study journey based on The Art of Neighboring, a book that offers a clear, compelling, and deeply practical path to living out Jesus’ Great Commandment in real time, on your street, with the people God has already placed around you.
📍 SERMON SERIES BEGINS: Sunday, May 4
📚 MORNING STUDY SERIES: Thursdays at 10:00 AM, beginning May 1
💻 WEEKNIGHT ZOOM STUDY: Begins May 6 (Time: TBA)
📖 Books available in the Church Office by Easter Sunday ($11) or from your favorite retailer.

Why This Matters
Jesus said the greatest commandments are to love God and to love our neighbor. But in today’s fast-paced world, many of us don’t even know the names of the people who live right next door. This series invites us to take the Great Commandment literally, and it turns out—that’s a game-changer.
We'll explore:
Week 1: Taking the Great Commandment Literally — what happens when we truly love those living closest to us?
Week 2: The Time Barrier — how to slow down enough to make space for relationships that matter.
Week 3: The Fear Factor — what holds us back and how God’s Spirit equips us to build trust and take the next step.
It’s More Than a Series. It’s a Movement.
Inspired by stories and strategies from across the country, this isn’t just another church program. It’s a resurrection practice. It's how we witness to the living Christ—not just inside the church building, but right outside our front doors.
When we start learning names, sharing meals, and building friendships, the Gospel comes alive in powerful, personal ways. It’s not about adding one more thing to our to-do list—it’s about reshaping how we live every day.
And who knows? That block party, backyard conversation, or sidewalk hello might just be holy ground.
📣 Join us as we discover the art—and joy—of neighboring. Because resurrection isn’t just what we celebrate on Easter… it’s how we live every day after.
