Journey with Jesus from Parade to Passion to Resurrection as Westminster celebrates Holy Week, March 24-31, 2024.
Our celebrations begin on Palm Sunday, March 24 with festivities for all ages. Worship starts the celebration at 10 AM with a Palm Celebration remembering Jesus' grand entrance into Jerusalem. We'll follow the worhsip with an egg hunt in the Garden for children. A fellowship meal for everyone concludes the morning in the Fellowship Hall. There will be ham and chicken, please bring sides and desserts to share. Adult Sunday school is at 9 AM. Nursery is available for worship.
Westminster comes to the Table on Holy Thursday at 7 PM in the Sanctuary as we remember Jesus' Last Supper with his friends. We will have childcare available for infants through 2nd Grade for our Holy Worship Worship at 7 PM. Please get in touch with Angie Denton for more information.
Good Friday worship at 7 PM is a gathering led by area United Methodist pastors retelling the Passion Story of Jesus' final day from Supper to arrest to trial to crucifixion. We remember Jesus' sacrifice for us in this solemn service. We will have childcare available for infants through 2nd Grade for our Good Friday Worship at 7 PM. Easter celebrations begin in the Garden at 7 AM proclaiming the good news of an empty tomb. A light breakfast follows in the Fellowship Hall. Celebrations continue at 10 AM in the Sanctuary as we rejoice in the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Adult Sunday school is at 9 AM. Nursery is available for 10 AM worship.
