All Saints' Sunday Worship - November 3, 2024, at 10 AM

Writer: Dennis PeayDennis Peay

Join us for a special All Saints' Sunday worship service on November 3, 2024, as we honor and remember the saints who have gone before us. This sacred time will offer an opportunity to reflect on the legacy of those who have completed the race of faith and now rest in God's eternal presence.

During the service, we will read aloud the names of those from our congregation and community who have passed away in the past year, lighting a candle in their memory. This meaningful act serves as a reminder of their enduring presence in our hearts and the light they brought into our lives.

In addition, we invite you to bring framed pictures of loved ones—whether they passed recently or long ago—to place on the altar shelf. These cherished images will join us in worship as we celebrate the "great cloud of witnesses" that continues to surround us.

Pastor Dennis will share a message entitled "Practicing Eternity," based on Revelation 21:1-6. In this powerful passage, we are reminded of God's promise of a new heaven and a new earth, where death and mourning will be no more. It is a message of hope and faith as we contemplate eternity and the love that transcends time.

Let us gather together to remember, honor, and celebrate the lives of those who have gone before us, trusting in the hope of the resurrection and the eternal peace promised in Christ.

We look forward to worshiping with you on this special day.
